Gold electrolytes
Gold baths from METAKEM are used for technical and decorative applications where pure gold layers are electroplated. These electrolytes can be cyanide-containing or cyanide-free based on ammonium gold sulfite and cover almost the entire pH spectrum.
Gold-SF is a sulfite-based gold bath with a neutral pH value. It is highly pure, characterized by a very low chloride content, and therefore has high bath stability even when exposed to light. This bath is used in both decorative jewelry applications and technical areas (including dental galvanoforming).
